Altered Book Projects class is a self paced online course designed to show you how to create five unique styles of altered books. 

Class Information

Duration: 4 weeks (self paced)
Delivery: Online video demonstrations and tutorials

You will be working through the class at your own pace. Creating any of the five projects is optional, but you may like to create and submit one to the 'Student Gallery'. (Note: I will not be present to run this class, you will find all the information provided in the class videos. If you have a question you may email me, but please allow a few days for a reply.

(preferably ones with hard covers and some character and age to them)
A Selection of Cardboard Boxes
(small gift box size which you will use to insert into one of your altered books)
Exacto/Stanley Knife
Hot Glue Gun
Silicon Bathroom Sealer
(transparent/clear)
T-shirt Transfer Paper
Collage Papers, Vintage Photos, Found Objects, Rusty Bits and Pieces
(anything you can think of that you might like to add to embellish your altered books)
A Selection of Acrylic Paints

More Information about the Class

Together we will be exploring the world of Altered Books. I will be showing you five different projects. From the five projects demonstrated, you can create one or several books of your choice for the class challenge.  I will demonstrate and explain the key features and elements which make up an altered book. I will share some great ideas which hopefully will give you inspiration to create something wonderful and totally unique.  What I love about this class is that you will learn how to create altered books which are SELLABLE.  This project class is very relaxed and you do not need to have any previous experience with altered books. This is a 'work at your own pace' class and you have access to videos and support for approximately 4 weeks after sign up.
